During this Gut Check segment, Rhett & Link tasted every flavor of Kettle Brand chips (let’s say a few prayers for their teeth). Here at Sporked, Kettle is one of our go-to potato chips. They’re thick, crunchy, and jam-packed with flavor. This is the taste test I was most jealous of while watching. Plus, they used Topo Chico as their palate cleanser? Come on, now. That’s just a great morning.

Somehow, Kettle condensed that flavor down into their crunchy and thick potato chips. “It’s got a pepper kick, and then it’s got a pickle kick,” said Link. “Let’s call this the dark horse that almost made it.” Truly, these seemed neck and neck with Salt & Vinegar. There’s sort of a 1A and 1B scenario going on here.
Kettle Brand Sea Salt & Vinegar“There’s no denying that this has the bigger flavor kick of the two,” said Link of Salt & Vinegar versus the Pepperoncini chips. “The flavor kick that starts strong, and ends stronger. And I am just in love with it,” added Rhett before they decided to put the chip on its first place throne. Kettle nails the tart piquancy of a salt and vinegar chip, and when you combine the flavor with the classic crunch of their brand, you end up with a knockout. It’s official. The number one Kettle chip, folks.
